Favorite Pictures from Paris

Sorry for the delay and lack of writing (although I’m not sure everyone will be so upset about that) about the trip to Paris. I figured that there isn’t much more to say about Paris then what the pictures do. The city is gorgeous, but for me there was just no comparison to London. Still, we enjoyed our time and felt very cultured (and touristy). So, here are the highlights as told by pictures:

This is the beauty of Paris and some of my favorite parts. The crazy hills and gorgeous architecture.
  • DSC 0278: This is from the top of the hill by Montmarte (we have yet to figure out how to pronounce this, go ahead Dad, say it in your head and take note to tell me next FaceTime). It was the first thing we saw and Paris and is absolutely breathtaking. If you’re going, definitely put it on the list.

  • DSC 0301: Look, we found Moulin Rouge! Not quite as exciting as the movie, but I still geeked out a bit.

  • DSC 0317: This is most notable because we found the mini-Bradenburg gate that Napoleon stole from Germany. To see the real one, go reference the Berlin post.

  • The Louvre of course.

  • By the time we had gotten through the Louvre, we had been awake for about 20 hours. Katie and I took a quick nap in the bathroom.

Oh hey, it’s Versailles. Because your grounds should be larger than your palace.

  • Your typical Eiffel Tower group pic. Also, in case you’re wondering, it’s not black, brown or grey. It’s a silly beige color. This was one of the largest discovery of the weekend.
