Program: Academic Program in Aix-en-Provence, Spring

Shelby’s Major: Art History, French Certificate

What is your most memorable experience from your program?

Getting to know new cities that look and feel nothing like any American city.

How were your program academics similar or different from taking classes at UW-Madison?

Little to no serial assignments throughout the semester, you usually just sit for just one or two final exams. Longer weekly lectures instead of shorter twice/3x a week lectures, which I liked because it motivated me to keep good attendance.

How will your experience benefit you in the future? How might it affect your future career or studies?

I would consider moving back to France to work postgrad.
