A group of people make "Ws" with their hands while standing on an elevated grassy patch next to the ocean on a sunny day.
One of the trips we took while studying abroad. We visited Cudillero, Spain after one of our plant visits, and it has this amazing view.

What did you learn about yourself or the world because of your experience?

It is an eye-opening experience in terms of getting to live in a whole new culture and immersing myself in a new environment. I realize how the world is so much more than just what we have in the US.

How did your identities impact your experience? What advice would you give to students with similar identities who are considering a similar experience?

Spain is a really accepting and tolerant country. The people that I went with also have been a great help.

How will your experience benefit you in the future? How might it affect your future career or studies?

This experience will definitely help me to grow as a better person and a more aware person to the outside world.
