Hot Springs

Another of these past weekends, we stayed at a hot springs hotel. Our rooms were Japanese style and had low beds, tatami mats, and a full tea set in the corner. Right outside the front entrance, there was a souvenir shop that had tons of these rocks that looked like bacon. They even had them hanging in the window. I was afraid of getting my camera wet so I didn’t get any pictures of the hot springs, unfortunately. The most noteworthy springs were one that was green (supposed to be green tea?) and one that was a dark red color (red wine maybe). I also need to mention the one with tiny fish that apparently eat your dead skin. I wanted to try this but it costed extra. The entire place (both the outdoor springs and the hotel hallways and rooms) was flooded with mosquitoes so I was able to practice my assassin skills on the crafty mosquitoes.
