Somewhere I See Daily:

This is my view of my home away from home here in Limerick, looking back from a hill that’s visible from my window. To the left of this photo is the village reception, which includes a help desk, laundry, and a study space. To the right is the blue track that is behind the sports arena, which is only a two-minute walk from this location.
I pass by this hill every day on my way to class or to swim club, but I really love to sit in the grass and feel the sun on my face, or watch the sunset, or admire the rainbows like the one I’ve captured here. If you look closely, you can see this is actually a double rainbow. Rainbows are quite common here, since the weather is always changing between rain and blue skies in a matter of minutes.
My Favorite Place in Limerick:

Wickham Market has some food options open Thursday through Sunday, but it is most lively on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm every week when the official market is open. There is food, coffee, plants, clothes, and locally made trinkets.
You can find it at the intersection of Thomas Street and Wickham Street, tucked in a semi-covered alley. It always has some music playing and friendly local vendors. The pride flag in this photo is only one of many, exemplifying the welcoming and queer-friendly nature of the market, which is one of my favorite things about it.

Program: University of Limerick
One reason I chose to attend the University of Limerick is that it offers courses related to my chemical engineering degree and fascinating area studies classes related to my International Engineering certificate, while also having wonderful clubs and societies to be involved in on campus!
