A light-changing exhibit featured in the Renwick Gallery.

This fall, I quickly realized that I am not in Madison anymore, and honestly, I am really happy about that. Here in Washington D.C., there are endless museums, monuments, buildings, events, and much more to explore! I think I could spend the rest of my life exploring this city and never get bored. For some reason, this exhibit at the Renwick Gallery solidified how much I love this city! I was fascinated by the way the lights changed the shape of the floating rope piece hanging from the ceiling. The colors changed from a reddish-orange all the way to a bluish-purple, and I stared at that piece for a long time. Every week, I try to spend some time visiting a new location, and the Renwick Gallery is just one of those places. After nine weeks, I feel like I have hardly made a dent, and I cannot wait to keep exploring!
