What is the moment you are most proud of?

I was most proud of when I took a solo trip to the Arctic Circle (specifically Abisko, Sweden), and experienced polar nights, the Northern Lights, and saw moose and reindeer. It was so cool and not something I thought I would be able to accomplish on my own.

What did you learn about yourself or the world because of your experience?

I learned that I am a good problem solver, especially in moments where things are changing all the time. I realized that traveling and studying are both things I am capable of doing in this phase of life, and that there is so much I want to see!

What is a custom, food or tradition from your host country that you are taking forward?

Fika! I loved taking (at least a few) breaks every day to sit and socialize with everyone in my classes and have tea/coffee and baked goods.
