Welcome to my Daily Life in Singapore blog! Today, I’ll walk you through my typical Tuesday routine, which is a good reflection of how my day goes throughout the week.

I start my day at 8:30 am, waking up and getting ready for my 10:00 am class. To get there, I catch the A2 university bus at the PGP Foyer Bus Stop, conveniently located right at the entrance of my dorm. My class lasts until noon.

After class, I usually grab lunch at The Deck, a canteen right outside my lecture hall, where I often meet up with classmates. Once we’re done, I head to the Central Library for a few hours of study, usually staying there until around 4:30 pm.

From 5:00 to 7:00 pm, I attend office hours. Afterward, I hop on the university bus to return to my dorm and stop by the PGPR Food Court for dinner. My go to stalls are the Mini Wok and Chicken Rice stalls.

Once I’m done with dinner, I prepare for my dorm’s Basketball COP from 8:00 to 11:00 pm. This club meets every Tuesday, and we play 4-on-4 half-court games. I usually get to play about 2-3 games. They all are skilled and friendly, making it good for beginners and advanced players. By the time the lights are turned off and the staff asks us to leave, I’m exhausted but energized from the experience.

I’ll definitely miss this close-knit basketball community when I return to Madison, but for now, it’s one of the highlights of my week.

Thanks for joining me on this little snapshot of my days!

I look forward to learn more about the rich history that Singapore has, especially their festivals.  I wanted to go to a country I have never been before to make new friends while learning about the different ideologies and cultures there.
