One of my favorite places in my daily routine at the University of Sydney is the Susan Wakil Building. This building is the location of my research internship, but it is much more than just that. It is also an amazing place to study with breathtaking views of the city skyline, the CBD (central business district), and many of the landmarks of the university such as the Great Oval and The Square. I come almost every day here either to study or meet up with my coworkers during the week. During the weekend I like to go for a run then use the “end of trip facilities” which includes showers and changing rooms before I start my weekend. In this building there are also many great places to take phone calls, set up interviews or attend group study sessions. The Susan Wakil Building is truly one of my favorite buildings that is part of my daily routine.

Views from Pyrmont Bridge

One of my favorite places in the city is Pyrmont Bridge. I love this place because of its scenic location, located right next to Darling Harbor, and its amazing views of the CBD. It’s especially beautiful to see at night and doesn’t get as busy as more well-known locations such as the Harbor Bridge. Riding my bike on it when traveling to Bondi or Darling Habor is truly a breathtaking experience and one I will miss when I leave in December. Finally, the bridge is one of my favorite spots in Sydney because it is the perfect run distance from the University. I am running a 10k with my sister in a few weeks and the run from the University to the bridge is around 7k round trip. Not only is it a beautiful run but also one that will prepare me for my 10k in October.
