England: Max Ranft (A Home Away From Home in London)

One experience that has become part of my routine is playing with the Imperial College football team.

My time with this club has allowed me to meet so many new people and explore all over London, as well as gain insights into the lives of typical university students. To me, this team has become more than just an outlet for exercise, but something to look forward to each week. I will certainly miss my new team, but hope to find ways to continue playing at UW-Madison when I return home next year. After high school, I never imagined I would be playing organized soccer again, especially not for my school team in college. However, thanks to my opportunities in Global Launch, I have been able to regularly play, practice, and attend social events each week.
