What is the moment you are most proud of?

The moment I am most proud of was completing my first research paper after weeks of hard work and effort. It was very fulfilling to know that my hard work and dedication paid off in the end.

What did you learn about yourself or the world because of your experience?

I learned that I can do anything and go anywhere if I put my mind to it. The world is the limit and there is no place I can’t go. Money comes and goes, but experiences and memories will live forever. I also learned to be in the present moment as much as possible and enjoy spontaneity in my life rather than be afraid of it.

What is your most memorable experience from your program?

My most memorable experiences from my program were some of my weekend hiking excursions in the mountains.

The educational and practical gain from it cannot be found in the US. You gain high levels of independence and ambition.

How were your program academics similar or different from taking classes at UW-Madison?

My program interests were very similar. I went abroad for global health policy development and my major was global health. I will say that the study abroad program was broader than a class I would take at UW-Madison.
