How will your experience benefit you in the future? How might it affect your future career or studies?

Not a lot of people get to study abroad, so when applying for careers in the future it will be a unique selling point for me. I also gained an intercultural competency that helps me connect with and understand those from other cultures.

One of my favorite moments was seeing Harry Styles perform at Wembley stadium. I absolutely love music and concerts so being at Wembley alone was an incredible experience, but seeing one of my favorite artists perform made it even better.

How were your program academics similar or different from taking classes at UW-Madison?

They were different and exciting! My professors were British and since my classes focused on British culture we had a lot of discussions comparing the UK and the US. Here, I learned things that I could not have learned at UW-Madison.

Describe your internship, research, or fieldwork and how the experience helped advance your career or studies.

For my experience I was working with a film production studio in London. It was an opportunity I had not been able to receive in Wisconsin so it was very cool to gain hands-on experience.
