1. Reffen

Reffen is a food market in Copenhagen. Here you can experience food from dozens of different cultures, all lined up in food trucks and covered in dazzling lights. You can also sit by the canal or watch the skaters shred at the skate park as you enjoy your meal!

2. The Kastellet

The Kastellet is a beautiful place to experience in Copenhagen. A bunch of raised ramparts sprinkled throughout a beautiful park and lake. In addition, you can see the guards protecting the Kastellet in the center. A great place to hike or run!

3. Mystery Makers

Do you like escape rooms? Of course you do! Located in the city center, Mystery Makers offers both collaborative and competitive escape rooms that are incredibly enjoyable and stimulating. I suggest you try the laboratory as that was my favorite!

4. Sticks and Sushi

The best sushi in Copenhagen! Get the miso and the yellowtail and be prepared to feast. An incredible rustic yet futuristic atmosphere makes this restaurant one of a kind.

5. Rosenborg Castle

I strongly urge you to stop by Rosenborg Castle. It is an incredible and scenic castle encapsulated by a beautiful park. There are tours of the castle daily and be prepared to see Danes walking their dogs or playing soccer in the surrounding area.

6. Studenterhuset

This is a coffeeshop run entirely by volunteers in both DIS and the University of Copenhagen. It is a great place to meet other college students or enjoy an array of events like painting or concerts.

Eli sits on an oversized dark green Union starburst chair.
