The most important place I go every day in Dublin is, of course, my university Trinity College. Even though I only have class three days a week, I always make my way through campus at least once a day. Especially as it begins to warm up and the trees bloom, I am always in awe of the university’s beauty. With plenty of green spaces, cozy Greystone buildings, and a pervasive sense of history, Trinity is such an incredible place to call home. It’s lively as well with students eating on the lawn or chatting outside the library and people from all over the world gazing around in wonder on tours.

My favorite place in Dublin, however, is Phoenix Park. The biggest city park in Europe and over twice the size of Central Park, Phoenix Park is a massive breath of fresh air from the hustle and bustle of the city. You could, and I have, get lost for hours trekking along the countless trails through wooded areas, ponds, and fields filled with deer. It’s the perfect place for a Sunday morning walk or jog. Ireland truly lives up to its name as the Emerald Isle with its dazzling green grass that seems right out of a fairytale.
